Please note: Equine massage supports wellbeing and is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment. If your horse has acute pain, heat, swelling, injury, wounds, fever, or signs of illness, please consult your veterinarian before massage.
If you feel sore or tight before or after a ride, it can be a helpful reminder to check in with your horse, too. Learning to notice areas of tension, sensitivity, or restriction can help you become more aware of how your horse is feeling.
Gentle massage and intentional touch can be incorporated into everyday care, whether you have a quick 45-second check-in before a ride or spend more time supporting your horse’s relaxation and comfort afterward.
Depending on your horse’s needs and your wellness goals, bodywork can range from a brief pre-ride routine to longer, regular sessions of up to two hours.
Massage can support young, senior, working, and pasture-pet horses. Providing regular massage can strengthen your bond and support your horse’s comfort and overall wellbeing. Equine massage may help keep your companion’s body and mind more relaxed and supple, complementing the training and conditioning you have achieved as a team.

Equine massage may be a valuable part of a whole-body wellness routine, supporting relaxation, comfort, and balance.
Because the conditions above can also be signs of other concerns, evaluation by a veterinarian and knowledgeable trainer is recommended.
This is a small-group, hands-on learning experience designed to help you feel more confident observing, communicating with, and supporting your horse.
